Download and Install Steam

If you don't have Steam installed, download it from the official website.

Create a Steam Account

If you don't have a Steam account, create one for free. You'll need a valid email address.

Search for The Sims 4

Open Steam and search for "The Sims 4" in the store. The base game is FREE!

💡 The Sims 4 base game has been free since October 2022!

Add to Library and Install

Click "Add to Library" or "Play Game" and let Steam download and install The Sims 4.

  • The download size is approximately 25-30 GB
  • Make sure you have enough disk space
  • Installation may take 30 minutes to a few hours depending on your internet speed

Launch The Sims 4 Once

Before using the ToolKit, launch The Sims 4 at least once to create the necessary folders and files.
